VIRTUAL Nature Infused Yoga

Poor Man’s Pelagic
Cape May Lewis Ferry 1200 Lincoln Blvd., North Cape May, NJ 08204, NJ, United StatesJoin Cape May Bird Observatory Director Brett Ewald and CMBO Naturalists aboard the Cape May Lewes Ferry to bird the Delaware Bay! If you’ve never plucked up the courage to go out on the wild blue ocean in search of elusive seabirds, here’s a chance to do the next best thing. While we can’t promise you views of shearwaters and murres, crossings on the Cape May-Lewes Ferry at this time of year regularly produce great views of Northern Gannets, Red-throated Loons and a host of different sea ducks, especially the three scoter species. Cormorants, gulls, terns and even some herons and egrets regularly cross the Delaware Bay at this time of year too and there is always the possibility of finding something unexpected. If time allows, we may also bird the jetty near the ferry terminal for the chance of Purple Sandpiper and other shorebirds, gulls and terns. We’ll travel on the 1:00pm ferry and return on the 2:45am boat. PHOTO I.D. WILL BE REQUIRED. PREREGISTRATION REQUIRED - Ticket sales will END on 03/15/23 at 5pm COST: $35 members, $45 nonmembers. NJ Audubon Digital Photography Workshop 6: Creative Photography
New Jersey Audubon's Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary 11 Hardscrabble Road, Bernardsville, NJ, United StatesLed by Instructor – Jacki Dickert (https://www.lightdance.org/) In this lecture, Jacki Dickert will delve into "the art of seeing," incorporating elements of design into images, awakening the imagination, and using the camera to its fullest to create special effects. In addition, she will demonstrate some digital editing effects and techniques that will allow for the creation of unique works of art. You will leave feeling encouraged about making beautiful images without having to travel to exotic locations.  New Jersey photographer and educator Jacki Dickert is passionate about sharing the beauty of the natural world. Her images reflect an open and creative way of seeing, often incorporating exquisite lighting and flowing forms.  A recently retired elementary school teacher, Ms. Dickert is now an exhibiting artist who lectures at photography clubs, libraries, and community centers around the state.  For more information visit www.lightdance.org  One person per ticket. Sunday Morning at Turkey Point

We’ll explore the Glades Wildlife Refuge and Dividing Creek to enjoy wintering raptors, including lots of Bald Eagles, and wintering shorebirds, gulls and ducks, including Green-winged Teal, Bufflehead, Hooded Mergansers, Common Mergansers and Bonaparte’s Gulls. Creative Hands Club: Mosaic Bracelets

We will use a mystery adhesive to permanently adhere bits of stained glass, mini tiles, charms, broken jewelry, and other mosaic tesserae into a cuff bracelet blank to create a lovely floral themed bracelet. No grouting required! Or, if you prefer, something more abstract, the design opportunities are endless! Led by West Cape May artist Carla Schaeffer. Pre-registration is required.
