NJ Audubon: Count the Birds for the Great Backyard Bird Count
February 17 @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am
Join Dorothy Smullen, Teacher Naturalist, to understand how to count birds in your own backyard for this citizen science program established in 1998 by National Audubon Society and the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. We will count the birds at the bird feeding station in front of the Welcome Center/Nature Store and report our results. While you’re here you can make a pinecone bird feeder. Stop in any time for this FREE program. Loaner binoculars will be available as we count the birds at the Scherman Hoffman feeders.
Reserve your spot! Registration required at Eventbrite by 4:00 PM 2/16. One person per ticket. Limit 8.
COST: FREE
