Hummingbirds were flitting around feeding on the morning glory, jewelweed and goldenrod at the Rea Farm this morning. A Green Heron gave us beautiful close views in the morning sunlight and several raptor species flew overhead. American Kestrels were particularly cooperative, and we got great, perched views of both males and females. Tree Swallow and Northern Flicker numbers are building.
