We hit a flurry of migrant songbirds shortly after starting this first-of-season walk at Cox Hall Creek WMA which included Magnolia Warblers, American Redstarts, Great-crested Flycatcher, Eastern Kingbird, and Baltimore Orioles. A Solitary Sandpiper fed along the edges of the large back pond and several Osprey flew over, some carrying fish which, these days, is a welcome sight.
